Virginia Tech Hokies Basketball - Deluxe Frame with Double Mat

The excitement at Cassell Coliseum was palpable as the Virginia Tech Hokies hosted the University of Virginia Cavaliers in a competitive game of basketball. The historic in-state rivalry between these two teams dates back over a century. At the beginning of this season, both teams ranked in the top-25 of the Associated Press preseason poll for the first time since 1995. It was also the Hokies first appearance in the preseason poll in eight years, matching their best preseason ranking in program history. Hokie fans relished the rivalry and blanketed the Coliseum in maroon as part of the annual Maroon Out effect game to show their spirit and support for their team.
